Italy. 21st Century. Just another bright, sunny day. Nothing interesting happening...right? Underneath your nose there are vampires. They look like us, talk like us and even walk like us - mostly. For centuries they've stayed hidden, worming their way into our society, gaining foothold after foothold.
Now they are in control. You just don't know it's them. No one knows...except the Church. They're suffering a crisis of faith. They don't want to believe that vampires exist any more than they desire to admit the Witch Trials were false. But things are leaking out, people are dying, rumors are spreading, people are doubting everything they hear. But still they try and live in a world of blissful ignorance, because they just don't want to know.
Italy is no longer unified. The North is run by vampires...as is the South. Sat slap bang in the middle are the humans. Some of them are fighting back, some strive for peace, others just couldn't care less.
