Dahlia's feet barely even touched the ground as she ran towards the prison, she had to be quick, you could never be sure wether you had been seen nowadays. she was always looking over her shoulder as she ran, she was fast, of course she was fast she was a vampire, but just because she was a vampire that doesn't mean she could get away anymore. They were watching, the Slayers were always watching.

Oh innocence has passed you by A long long time ago -------------Guard duty was probably this vampire's least favourite job. Actually, he didn't really like anything that involved him actually having to do something. Lazlo would much prefer to be doing his own thing, out in the town, scaring little children and preying on pretty young women. But, of course, he couldn't do that anymore. Not since the Slayers took over.
Pale fingers curled into fists as his mind lingered on the humans with guns. Normally no weapon would scare him: after all, a bullet couldn't kill a vampire. Not a normal one anyway. But these Slayers had developed new weapons, which actually could kill the immortals. He'd seen it with his own eyes. And it scared him.
Of course, he'd never admit it. He'd never admit he was scared of anything. But it explained why he was willing to stay within the walls of the old prison, why he was willing to occasionally do guard duty if it meant he got to stay within the safety of the prison. Though that was ironic. The 'prison' was the safest place in Rosepetal Falls if you wanted to be free.
Anyway. Lazlo dragged his mind away from those thoughts; it would only make him more annoyed if he continued to think about Slayers and death and fear. For now, the blond vampire focused on his steps, and quickened his pace. He was stood atop the large stone wall, walking along it, circling around the whole prison and checking the area nearby. He could smell the humans deeper in the town, but none of them dared come near the prison. Why would they? It would only result in their death. Not even brave Slayers came near here anymore. They'd learned by now, they'd learned that this place was too guarded for them to force their way into. Although occasionally, a large group of Slayers would try to storm the place. There would be casualties on both sides, but they never managed to force the Supernaturals out.
His head snapped up, red eyes scanning the ground as a foreign scent reached him. A vampire, so not a threat. He smirked slightly at that thought. How the tables had turned... Less than a few months ago, the biggest threat he could think of was another vampire. Or a werewolf. Urgh, he used to hate them. And now he was forced to live so closely with them. Again, that was purely for his own safety. As soon as this Slayer thing was over, he could go back to his own life away from everyone else.
His pace quickened again, taking him towards the scent. He soon spotted the vampire in question. A girl with red hair. She was probably quite pretty, but Laz didn't look at her in that way. He was more bothered about her motives than her appearance. He fell into step with her, copying her movements and mirroring them from on the wall. He followed her for a few more seconds, waiting until she was close to the gate before launching himself off the stone wall.
With the grace of a feather, he landed less than a few metres ahead of her, tilting his head to the side slightly and smirking at her. "Hello Sweetheart," he purred, blinking at her. "Can I help you?" -------------And after all this time How can you stand there Look at me and smile?

Dhalia stared at him for a moment, not quite sure what to say I need a place to stay, I guess Dhalia shrugged, she wasn't too good with new people, she prefered her own company to others Is there any room at the inn She gave a slight giggle but then stopped almost instantly and gave a polite but shy smile.

Hmm. Someone else dares come into the midst of our sanctuary? Jude waited for the scent to fill his nostrils, and nodded to himself. Vampire. I'm not surprised.
He strolled down the hallways, until he got to the entrance. He wondered who the newbie was; if it was a hot guy, then maybe Jude could snatch him up. Well, even if he didn't get there straight away, he probably could get the guy whenever. So long as they didn't wander out into human territory.
Sighing quietly to himself, Jude closed his eyes. Gone were the days when freedom was everywhere. When he could do as he pleased. Have what he wanted. Enjoy life - or, what was left of it, with out any worries. It felt almost cruel - over two and a half centuries of roaming wherever he wanted, and fulfilling his desires. And now look. Stuck in an old prison, like some common criminal, with the stench of those overgrown mutts everywhere. Jude had never been much of a dog person, and werewolves - well, they were something else entirely. He shuddered at the thought of them, and found himself appreciating the fresh air a little bit more.
At least he had that. The cool breeze hitting his face, whilst the stars beamed down from above him. That was beautiful, and he was glad that he had at least that to hold on to.
He silently walked up to where two figures were standing. One was one of the other 'inmates' - a handsome vampire, that was probably one of the most attractive there. Jude hadn't yet approached him, one because he hadn't seen him that often, and two because, well... there as nothing about him that said without a doubt, he was gay. If Jude made the mistake of falling for a straight guy... well, that'd make things a hell of a lot tougher.
He stopped a few metres behind them, watching the small bit of conversation being passed from to the other. The new arrival was a firey-haired female. Jude sighed. Is it too much to ask for some extra eye candy? Those curves never did it for me...

Jude smirked at the female rolling her eyes. They just don't understand...
She had acknowledged him with her little cough, so Jude saw it as only fair if he acknowledges her back. "Don't mind me. I'm Jude, by the way." He paused for a second, before saying, "I think that we may have space. What do you think... Lazlo, was it?"
He had occasionally seen the blonde around before, but Jude has never spoken to him. He was one hot peice of meat, but there was nothing to say that he, without a doubt, was gay. And if he wasn't... that wouldn't be so good for him. It wouldn't make it impossible, but it'd certainly be harder for Jude if he ended up liking him.
The decision of whether or not to let the newbie stay was of no interest for Jude. There was nothing in it for him, and it probably wouldn't affect him much. Plus, she had asked blondie first. Although Jude knew that the outcome would, very likely, be that this girl could stay. There was plenty of room, and all of the 'supernaturals' were helping each other out (even if only to ensure their own survival), so she would be helped, as well.
Jude too this opportunity to check out the Lazlo guy. After all, it was polite to look at who you were speaking to. And look he would...

Oh innocence has passed you by A long long time ago -------------Lazlo's ears twitched as he heard footsteps behind him. He breathed in deeply, trying to catch the newcomers scent. It was familiar, though only slightly. Someone who lived in the prison probably. He didn't turn round, but he did keep half his attention on the vampire behind him.
Focusing back on the woman in front of him, he stayed quiet for a little longer, trying to make her uncomfortable. "Well then," he finally said, a slight French accent still present in his voice, even after years away from his homeland. "We'll have to see what we can do for you." He gave her a smirk and kept his scarlet gaze fixed on her.
The vampire behind him decided to make himself known. Laz finally looked back at him, and his smirk widened. Yes, he had seen this man before, quite a few times. He'd been watching him from a distance, and for good reason. He was gorgeous. James or something. No, more exotic than that... J... J... Jude? The vampire spoke, and confirmed his name, before acknowledging Lazlo.
He smirked again at him, deciding to play around with him a little. "Hey Sweetheart..." he purred, his eyes flickering up and down him. The same question fluttered through his mind as it had Jude's. Was he gay? There wasn't any obvious sign of it. But Laz was sure he'd seen Jude check out other guys, just as he himself did. He wasn't particularly bothered whether Jude was gay or not, he'd still flirt with him. Whether he got a reaction or not determined whether he'd continue with it. Sometimes straight guys still reacted to him, so Jude's sexuality was irrelevant. He kept his voice as a seductive purr as he continued speaking. "Lazlo, yeah," he confirmed, tilting his head slightly, and lifting his gaze back to his face. "Lazlo Stuart Drake, pleasure to meet you. And I mean that sincerely." He smirked at him, before turning back to the girl.
His playful flirtatious attitude disappeared as quickly as it had come. His voice dropped into an almost sinister purr. "I'm sure we could squeeze you in somewhere... Though it might be more fun to watch the Slayers get you. I'll bet they're hungry for some more Supernatural blood." He took a few steps towards her, tilting his head again, a slightly sadistic glint in his eyes. -------------And after all this time How can you stand there Look at me and smile?

Dahlia scratchd the back of her neck in uncomfort, the male Vampire was slightly scary, utterly gorgeous, but slightly terrifying. Dahlia nodded at him. noticing the slight french accent in his voice and smiled, it reminded her of home. And then he ruined the happy thought with his cruel words. Let the Slayers get me? Are you for real? You'd let another vampie get killed, we should be working together Dahlia shook her head in disapproval. Are you going to let me in then or not? Dahlia tapped her foot impatiently

Jude smirked in approval as he listened to the blonde play with the newcomer a little. It was nice to see a vamp with a sense of humour - that didn't happen much, these days.
He raised a perfectly sculpted eye brow at the guy's voice. There was a trace of mid-European there... not too deep to be Spanish, and not as smooth as Italian. It wasn't as hard as German, but it wasn't as pronounced as Russian. Jude guessed it was French, or possibly Belgian - not like there was much of a difference between the two. He paid close attention the the face that had turned to him. Such youthful features - but Jude knew that it was a lie. This vampire was centuries old; he could tell from the depth of his eyes, as he showed hundreds of years worth of knowledge and emotion. But for him to look so perfect, when he was so, so old - the thought of it still amazed Jude, despite applying to himself.
He smirked slightly as blondie began to speak again. He was right about the name - Lazlo...It was the sort of name that just rolled off your tongue, and was quite pleasant to say... The way that he said his name with such pride and regalty showed that he thought a lot of himself. And rightly so. He was so handsome that he was nearly flawless, and any vampire beyond a couple of centuries old had to be admired, staying out of harm's way for that long. "Pleasure to meet you." Pleasure, eh? I can do pleasure... he smirked.
Jude could feel his mouth beginning to water as he watched the show that Mr. Drake was putting on. The way he swaggered towards the female was not unlike the way a lion would stalk a gazelle, and it was oh so appealing... Jude shook his head to clear his thoughts. Don't get into too deep, he told himself. You're not the one who is supposed to get hurt.

Oh innocence has passed you by A long long time ago -------------The girl was looking uncomfortable, almost scared, and Lazlo couldn't hold back the laugh when she spoke. His laughter held the familiar sinister tone of his voice, whilst still sounding light and amused, a strange mix which resulted in an almost hypnotic effect. His lips curved into a smirk as he finished laughing. It was quite cute that she thought he cared. She seemed surprised that he'd let one of his own kind be murdered.
"What does it matter to me if you're killed?" he asked, moving towards her again, but turning slightly so he was circling her, treating her like prey rather than an equal. "You're of no benefit to me. You couldn't offer me anything I want. It might be quite amusing to watch you die. Or, of course, I could just do it myself. Now that would be fun."
He snickered. He's most likely let her in, after all, there was no reason she couldn't stay. But it was fun to bully the newbies a bit. And she looked young; she couldn't be older than a hundred, hundred and fifty. Obviously in human standards that was old, but compared to Lazlo she was just a child. And children were so fun to wind up.
He paused his circuit and listened to her last question. A smirk twisted his lips up again. "Hmmm, I think I'll go with..." He started his circuit again, not finishing his sentence until he was behind her. He darted up behind her and pressed his lips to her ear. "Not." He laughed again as he moved away from her ear, back to a reasonable distance. He stopped and turned to face her when he was in front of her again, smiling and blinking at her with such an innocent expression that it was hard to relate him to the sadistic creature who'd been toying with her just seconds before.
His ears twitched slightly to check Jude was still nearby. That was the other reason Lazlo was tormenting this newcomer. He could never resist the chance to show off. Though it also meant he wouldn't carry on with it for too long. He didn't want to risk Jude getting bored and walking away. Not if there was a chance Laz might have company in his room later...
He kept his gaze on the girl, but half of his attention remained on Jude, trying to judge his reaction without turning to look at him. He didn't want it to look like he was only doing this to get Jude's approval. It was more for himself than anyone else. But if Jude liked it, well, all the better. -------------And after all this time How can you stand there Look at me and smile?

Dahlia stared at him wide-eyed But, but why not? there must be room in there She looked towards the vampire named Jude for help. But then reconsidered this as she thought he might be just as bad.
Well, where else do you suggest I go, there is no where else! If Dahlia could cry she would of, it was plain to see he was tormenting her, she hadn't known him long and she hated his guts already.
Dahlia kicked at the ground in annoyance I think you're disgusting, willing to turn away one of your own, what is wrong with you she balled up her fists in anger.

Jude smirked as the female vampire glanced at him. She looks like a deer caught in headlights... he thought to himself. He shrugged his shoulders, and watched her to see what she would do.
"Well, there's always the town..." he grinned. Yeah, if you wanna get killed. Heh. He looked over at Lazlo to see what he would say. would he toy with her for longer? Or would he put her out of her misery? He seemed like the sort of guy to tease a lot, but he was talking to another vampire, so would he tease for much longer? Or did he tease people the same whether they were vampire, werewolf, or anything else? Jude made a mental note to observe this later.
He chuckled a little as he watched her get annoyed. Must be a young vampire. You don't see many of us oldies throwing a tantrum. "You do know that this is the real world, don't you?" He asked the ginger. "It's each to his own."
He glanced towards blondie. what would he do now?

Oh innocence has passed you by A long long time ago -------------Another perfect laugh escaped Lazlo's lips as the girl looked around desperately for help. "Oh aren't you sweet!" he said happily, clapping his hands and obviously loving his new toy.
Before he could open his mouth, Jude answered for him. He snickered, feeling almost proud of him for joining in. This guy could be fun. Maybe Lazlo would drag him along for more than just a one night stand. Perhaps keep him around for a few weeks. He wouldn't stay loyal of course: even if he kept Jude for weeks, he'd be sleeping with many other guys behind his back. Like usual.
Her last sentence snapped his thoughts away from sex to the more pressing matter. He hated being insulted. By anyone. Lazlo was the perfect example of a narcissist: totally in love with himself, and didn't believe anyone could say he wasn't perfect. Any kind of insult was taken very badly by this vampire.
A snarl ripped from his throat before he could stop it and he closed the gap between himself and the red-head, until his lips were mere centimetres from hers. His voice came out as fierce growl, the soft French tone suddenly turning sharp, like his words could physically cut through her. "Don't you EVER call me 'disgusting' again, Sweetheart, or I'll rip your pretty little body to shreds until you fit that adjective perfectly." He bared his fangs at her, growling under his breath. "There is nothing wrong with me thank you very much. Watch your mouth when you speak to your superiors."
He'd forgotten all about Jude, and about teasing the new vampire. He was far too intent on teaching her a lesson. Hopefully she wouldn't make the stupid mistake of doing it again. As proven just then, Lazlo had a very short temper, and he wouldn't take kindly to her making the same mistake twice... -------------And after all this time How can you stand there Look at me and smile?

SHE WANTS TO TOUCH ME WOO OOH SHE WANTS TO LOVE ME WOO OHH Cory slowly wandered back up to the prison. He'd been missing for several days now, he liked to wander the nearby forest. It was safe, but still free. Even if he did find the Slayers there, he could run away, back to the prison. It was like a safe haven for him and his kind. He slowly walked for the gates, shuddering as he noticed the group of vampires that had gathered close to the gates. He had to admit, he was a little scared of them. They made him nervy sometimes, and although there were several of the females which he wouldn't mind getting into bed with, he wasn't sure if they would be friend or foe to him. He approached them carefully.
Cory was shirtless, his skinny jeans hung loosely around his rear end, and his hair was more messy than he would usually allow it to be - he still looked sexy, just a little more rugged than usual. He pushed his fringe away from his eyes a little and peered at the gathered Vampires. A redhead female - not bad looking, either. A blonde male - Lazlo, was it? and another dark-haired male. He walked closer to the gates and stopped a few meters from them, unsure of what was needed. He would've gone straight back up to his cell, but the redhead caught his attention, he smirked slightly at her and slipped her a wink.
