Ok, I know everyone hates rules so I'll try and make this quick. First of all, we have basic attitude rules. Let's have everyone being nice please. No racism, no sexism, no homophobia, no being mean in any way. You all should know how to behave properly, so lets stick to that. If anyone sees any inappropriate behaviour, pm me and I'll deal with it as soon as possible.

Second, we have roleplay rules. Most of these are quite obvious, such as no god-modding or power-playing, which means no making your characters invincible and no controlling other people's characters. Also, this site is PG-13, remember that. Proboards is getting seriously strict about stuff like this at the moment. Don't believe me? Check out the article HERE. So for now at least, anything above PG-13 is banned. That means sexual stuff, over gorey violence, that kind of thing. Any problems or questions, pm me, I'll be happy to help.

Third, profile rules. For your profile name, you must have your character's first, middle and last name (or just first and last if they don't have a middle of course). If you want to make another character, you must make a new account with their name, and post the application with that account. There isn't a specific limit on how many characters you can have, but just make sure you can keep handle all of them. I wouldn't reccomend more than five, and if you can't keep them all active, bare in mind some may be taken off you. In addition, please can your signature and avatar be of the play-by you've claimed (please claim in the Face Claim first to make sure your celebrity is free). Whilst we're on the subject, your play-by must be a real person. No anime please. And also, two characters can't have the same face claim (unless the characters are twins, in which case, you need permission from the person playing the other twin first). And now, to character rules. The application here is pretty simple (click the link in the side bar that says 'APPLY' to get to it). We don't mind how long it is, detail isn't important. We want to get to know your character through your roleplay skills, not through your app-writing skills. After all, you wouldn't read a massive summary of a person's life before bumping into them in the street. Anyway, make sure you fill out the app and it gets approved before roleplaying. To make sure I know you've read the rules, put "yeah baby, yeah!" in the space that says "phrase from rules". Thankies. Also, we want a range of characters please. We don't won't a hundred girls and no boys or vice versa, so try and keep it equal, the same with species. If this does get out of hand, I will ban the creation of certain characters. If you want to check which if any are banned, click HERE and look at the numbers next to each category. If it says (unlimited) then that's fine, you can make that character. If it says (3 more) or something similar, only that number of this type of character can be made until the others are evened out a bit. And finally if it says (banned) you can NOT make a character of that type. And no Mary-sues (perfect characters). Everyone has their faults. Faults make character's more interesting and no one wants to roleplay with a boring character. One last thing. Your character CAN be in more than one thread at the same time. Think of it this way: if you read two books from the same series at the same time, they would have the same characters in, but it would be at two different points of the character's life. So one of the roleplays your character is in could be taking place an hour or so after a different one of your roleplays has finished. Get it? Nearly finished now. Species rules. Everything you need to know about the individual species is HERE. If it's missing anything you need to know, just PM me with your question, or ask me on the Chatbox, and I'll get back to you a.s.a.p. Also, can we try to keep the Human to Supernatural ratio quite even. If there are forty Supernaturals to every Slayer, the war is going to be pretty uneven. If this becomes a problem, I'll put in a rule saying you must have at least one Slayer for every two Supernaturals. For now, I'll trust you. Important note for werewolves: If your character is a werewolf and you want to post them in their wolf form, it must be full moon, right? Well here on Heartache Tonight, we let you decide when that is. After all, you might be in the mood to suddenly play your character as a wolf. In which case, your specific thread could be a full moon, whilst other people's threads didn't have to be. So if you want it to be a full moon in your thread you MUST put [FM] in the title. This indicates to everyone that it is a full moon. Ok?
