------------------------------------I love the way she bites her lip, I love the way she shakes them hips. I love the way she makes me drool. I think that she is beautiful.------------------ All this arguing was getting ridiculous. And it was giving Vanessa a headache. There was a reason she'd wanted to relax in the common room: she'd craved the nice, quiet atmosphere. Well that atmosphere was obviously not here. The only other place she could think of finding peace now was in her room.
'Nessa wasn't really listening to their discussion. Something about Matt's mother telling him something. She'd been sympathetic for him at first, but the arguments soon started again and she was bored of listening to it. Though at least Carter was defending himself now, meaning he realised he was doing something wrong. Or maybe he just wanted to keep on Vanessa's good side. Probably that one.
"Look, I should go," she said, standing up and flicking her hair back over her shoulder. "I have to go on patrol early tomorrow so I need my sleep." And I don't want to listen to you fighting. ------------------

"What? There's no need to go!" Charlie jumped, ignoring Matt's last few sentences. "We'll stop, I promise! We did stop, but Matt's mom ruined it! No offence, Matty," He defended in an almost child-like way. "Seriously, seriously, we'll stop! We'll even act like friends! See," he said, quickly pulling Matt closer with an arm. "We like each other, really! This fightin', it's just a male bondin' thing. We'll stop, honest," he repeated, summoning puppy dog eyes to do the rest. Aww, come on, don't leave me with Matt while he's bein' moody! It ain't my fault he ain't fun when he has mommy issues! [/blockquote]

Matt's eyes followed her as she got up and then he turned and looked at Charlie
Oh, well doesn't someone look desperate Matt smiled slightly to himself
S'okay, non taken Matt shrugged it off, he didn't really care about her anymore. And then Charlie pulled Matt closer slightly Nyehh, get off me! He tried to pull away from Charlie and then he looked up at Vanessa and grinned falsely Yeah, as long as it's acting Matt rolled his eyes
Erm, Yeah, I don't know how you bond with other people, but I'm sure arguing with them isn't one of them Matt finally pulled himself free from Charlie's arm and then moved as far away from Charlie as he could get on the sofa.
Stupid Charlie, stupid desperate Charlie

These two were hard work, and they were that desperate to keep her there that if she tried to escape she'd most likely end up being dragged back into the room. Great so she was practically trapped. Ah well, it could be worse, I mean, these two weren't all that abd to look at... But anyway, Vanessa wasn't interested in a one night stand, which is what would probably happen if she let herself get caught up in the moment around these two. She smiled slightly. "We can talk about anything. Slayers? How was your last hunt?" [/blockquote][/size] ------------------

"What?" Charlie said blankly, looking at Matt. "This is what normal guys do!" You been livin' in a whole for most of your life? An' you could at least play along; don'tcha want her to stay?
"I'm not arguing!" Charlie argued. "Hey, you know that havin' a laugh with people is my way of sayin' we're friends. What would you rather do?" He shrugged, letting Matt move, and he took another swig.
"Well, if he really doesn't like it, whatever. I'll stop." Still don't see why he should be offended. Then again, I doubt he's even got any testosterone in there. "But, come on. There's no reason to go! what else you gonna do here? there ain't exactly a lotta choice. I mean, this place is just like a big cardboard box, with a few beds an' fridges. Or somethin'. Ain't it, Matty boy?" Can he at least agree with me on this?

Oh, 'cause you'd know all about normal Matt rolled his eyes
Oh 'cause so would you wouldn't you Matty boy
Matt sighed I'd rather you act normal, but whatever, I guess I could do wth a laugh right now Matt stared at his almost empty bottle
Matty, now, you're just sounding like a whiny baby, grow up dude, so you're part vampire, it's not the end of the world, well.... it could be, but it's not like your going to tell anyone is it.
Actually, it doesn't bother me, my mum just pisses me off you know. Sorry dude Matty punched his arm playfully
Oh look what you've done know Matty boy, your whining's made her wanna go
Matt stood up You don't have to go, I'll be in a better mood now... promise Matt smiled his best smile, that made his eyes crinkle

"Course you could, Matty boy. Everyone could. Here, lemme get you another," he told his comrade, seeing him glance forlornly at the almost empty drink in his hand. Charlie quickly snatched up another bottle, in a bid to use up the least amount of time that he could.
"Ahh. That explains a lot. Well, if we steer clear of your mum, we should be fine, right?" He grinned. Unless if she's a... don't go there. This is Matt's mum... ugh.
He chuckled as Matt punched his arm. "Not in the mood, eh?" He asked, referring to the punch on his arm that felt like air brushing past him.
Or maybe he's got no power at all. Nah, he must have enough testosterone to make me feel a punch... wait, this is Matt... could be either.
He gave his head a mental shake, and gulped down some more of his drink. It was time to move on from thoughts about Matt. That sounded so gay.
"See? Even Matty's agreein'! We're both agreein'!Let's do something we can't annoy you with then, like, uh, some sorta conversation..."
What do chicks like? Soppy, emotional stuff... but we don't wanna try to be all like that... not like it'd be hard for Matt. But what else? Anything we all got in common that we could talk about?

Matt rolled his eyes at Matt and tried to keep his mouth shut at Vanessa's question, he knew he'd sound pathetic Err- I guess.... you could say it was err, u-u-uneventful Matt shrugged looking at the ground, hoping that Charlie would keep his mouth shut
See Matty, it's time like these that you should probably grow some balls and kill those SOB'S

Annie headed towards the Common Room, holding her favourite book in her left hand. She'd just come off Patrol and she wanted to chill out and read her book. She was half way through it and desperate to finish it. She always got addicted to the books she read, she got so sucked into them that she found it sad when she had to put the book down or when she got to the end of the book. She was forever always going shopping for new books to read. She focused on Fantasy books than Autobiographies. She didn't like the real life stuff, just the stuff that Non-Slayers thought wasn't real, but she knew differently. She knew that werewolves and vampires were real, she delt with them every day almost.
Today had been one of the boring days of her Patrol. She hadn't seen a single thing, not that she wanted to. She may have been a Slayer, but she didn't like being a Slayer. She didn't tell that anyone though, hardly any of her friends or family knew that she hated being a Slayer. But she did it because her family had, and she'd be putting shame on the family if she didn't. So, she gritted her teeth and bared it when it came down to her being a Slayer. She wasn't a bad Slayer, she could aim well and she could run fast and fight well. But the thing that worried her most was the fact that one day, something might do wrong and she could be bitten by a werewolf or bitten by a vampire. She may not like killing them, but she certainly didn't want to become a vampire or a werewolf.
Her small heels clicked on the floor as she walked. Her long, blue jeans covered the small heels completely. The long sleeved, white top did nothing for her figure, but she didn't care. She didn't really care for her looks. Sure she liked to look nice, but she didn't mind having one of those days where her hair was messy and her clothes were creased. Today wasn't one of those days, she'd dressed quickly this morning as she'd been on the early shift, but she'd dressed nicely.
Annie headed into the Common Room and froze for a few seconds when she saw other people in there. She shrugged to herself. Of course the Common Room wouldn't be empty, the Slayers who were off Patrol came in here a lot after they'd got off. She left them three to their own devices and sat on a chair in the corner. She crossed her legs and opened her book to the right page. She began to read, leaning her elbow on the side of the chair and leaning her head on her fist, her wrist pointing outwards. You could see the small butterfly on her wrist, not that she meant to show it off. [/blockquote]

Charlie rolled his eyes. Of course it was uneventful, for Matt. it always was. He was just one big softie, and Charlie seriously doubted that he would even attempt to kill a fly. Well, okay, maybe he'd try, but he'd probably never hurt anything. He's such a wuss. It's a wonder he'll even pick up a gun.
"Unfortunately, it's the same here," he replied. Charlie wasn't being a hypocrite; he'd killed quite the number of supernaturals before, but then again, he was a little trigger happy. "There hasn't been much activity, recently. I've barely got a glimpse o' one in the las' month, never mind a shot. I dunno, it makes me feel kinda uneasy. Like somethin's goin' on. Then again, it may just be that I've killed 'em all!" He laughed, taking a large swig out of the bottle in his hand.
It was somewhat weird, there not being as many vampires at the moment, and it could be seen as suspicious. But that wasn't what Charlie was worried about; usually he killed at least one supernatural or more. But at the moment, things were slow. Too slow. And he didn't know how much more of the lack of slaying his pride could cope with.

Matt laughed at Charlie Seriously? You killed them all? you really think that? They breed like vermin, like hell you've killed them all. Matt shook his head. The word vermin made something twist in the pit of his stomach. He was no one of those vermin, well part vermin at least. He was now scared for his own life, he knew Charlie was trigger happy, what if he found out, would he help him? Or would he kill him? He didn't want to chance it, he couldn't tell anyone, everyone here hated supernaturals, or so he thought. He just had to act his part, even if it did mean killing one of his own kind. I'm thinking about patrolling closer to the prisons, try and catch a blood sucker whilst they're trying to feed. It would mean quite a late stake out, but we need something. He took another long swig of his drink and then cast aside the empty bottle, starting to feel the slightest bit dizzy. He never usually drank much, that's when he actually did drink. Matt looked up at the girl who walked in to the common room, sitting in the corner with a book, he smiled slightly. Best stay away, Charlie would probably pounce on you as soon as he realises he doesn't stand a chance with Vanessa. He smirked and focused back on their conversation.

Annie tried to concentrate on her book, but it didn't go very well. Her brain half concentrated on the words, half concentrated on what they were saying across the room. She recognised the other Slayers, she knew most of the people here, as well as most of the people here knew her. She sneaked a glance at them and saw one of them glance at her, Matt Dingle was his name. She knew him but had hardly ever spoken to him. When she'd seen him she'd always been in a rush and just passed him.
The other two she also knew. Vanessa Adrianna D'Amore and Charles Connor Carter, both who she knew, but - like Matt - she'd just passed them when she'd been in a rush and not spoken to them. The only thing she'd probably said to any of them was a quick "hi" or a "hey" in the corridors when she'd been passing. She only knew a few of the people here really well. She glanced at them again, wondering why they were talking about the vampire population.
Sure, she was worried at how many there were, but at the same time she was happy. Maybe if the vampires died out she wouldn't have to be a Slayer anymore. Well, that would only happen if the werewolves died out as well. She sighed and returned her gaze to her book. She could only hope that one day she could become a normal human being. Well, she had to say, normal human beings lives were boring.

"Duuuude, it was a joke! Either way, I've ganked more 'n you, so you can't say nothin', Matty boy," He replied, rolling his eyes. There hadn't been many supernaturals around, which was a good reason for Matt's lack of killings - but even back when the nights were ripe with bloodsuckers, Matt hadn't killed many, if any at all. What was it that stopped Matt from doing his job? was he really just incompetant, or was there some other reason? Charlie gave his head a mental shake. Matt probably could do an alright job, if he tried. But really, he was just one of those guys who would rathrerlive without violence, right? That must be the reason.
"Sounds like a good plan. Kinda risky - who'da thought it'd be you comin' up with somethin' like that? But hey, if everyone agrees, I'll be more'n willin' to go with yer. It'd be fun - y'know, plen'y of adrenaline, being right on the front line and gankin' those bitches right where they're hidin'. Serve 'em right for bein' so cowardly. But will the searge' be okay with it? He's gotta approve everythin', right?"
Charlie sat back, even more relaxed than before. He love nothing more than talking about how he was going to kill supernaturals - other than actually killing them, that was. As he began playing out the scenario in his head, he didn't notice the girl who had entered.

------------------------------------I love the way she bites her lip, I love the way she shakes them hips. I love the way she makes me drool. I think that she is beautiful.------------------ Vanessa smiled slightly when the conversation calmed. Apparently patrol was a good subject, she'd have to remember that for the future. Though these two were very annoying when they were arguing, they both seemed to be level-headed about their work. Though Matt's answer hadn't seemed as relaxed as Charlie's... Ah well, he was probably just disappointed he didn't get to do much.
Despite Vanessa's appearance, she very much enjoyed her work. You wouldn't imagine that a woman as interested in making herself look pretty and presentable would be anywhere near as interested in killing the Supernaturals as she was. She was almost as into it as the boys.
'Nessa glanced up as another girl came in, and smiled at her. She didn't recognise this new girl. Their patrols were probably at opposite ends of the town. She was tempted to move seats and talk to the girl instead of staying with the boys, but she knew they'd never let her go. Well, Charlie wouldn't anyway.
However her attention was re-caught as she heard them discussing a plan. She turned to face them, frowning slightly. "Closer? Are you sure? If we go near to that prison, and they launch an attack, they'd kill us in an instant. Of course, if the whole League went, we might stand a chance. But after the massacre of last time, I doubt they'd risk it again." ------------------
