"Well, maybe we can be far away enough to not get murdered, but lose enough to kill 'em? But then there's no fun without a risk! Mind you, a full ambush on them bitches sounds pretty fun... give our new 'uns a bit o' experience, y'know? Sure it's dangerous, but they'll never learn otherwise. And plus, it'd be a good way to find out how many supernaturals are there. Course, some could be hidin', but if they're that cowardly, they're not even worth our time anyway. So, yeah, it's dangerous, but fightin' them's dangerous anyway. We all knew that when we signed up." Charlie took another swig and closed his eyes. They really hadn't had much luck with the supernaturals recently, how would they know if there were just a few, or they were actually planning something? In Charlie's mind, a confrontation like this would be the only way to find out - before it's too late.

Matt listened to Charlie talk about the supernatural's absent mindedly, his mind began to drift from the conversation to his own thoughts, to what his mother had told him. He'd never felt so depressed and angry before, towards his mother, the supernatural thing that helped create him, emotions he would always usually be forced to hide. He also felt kind of powerful, that now he only had one thing to worry about. Protecting his new secret.
He was alone on this one, was there anyone he could trust with such a big secret when everyone around him is a slayer? There was Charlie, could he really trust him, or was he better off hanging back like he usually does, looking like the weird little loner he was usually portrayed as, besides, Charlie wasn't exactly a friend, just someone he could occasionally talk to, he couldn't be exactly sure if he would kill him if he found out, but to Matt it was almost certain that he would. There was his brother John Dingle, now that was someone who he definitely could not tell. He could just tell him he was bisexual, and he'd probably get hell for it, so telling him he was half vampire, would most likely end in death. Vanessa? Not likely, he barely knew her, and she just thought he was a desperate creep.
He couldn't go to the prisons, he was still part human, and that wouldn't go down too well. And he was still a slayer, some of them must have seen him patrolling the forests with his gun, although he never raised it to anyone or anything, he was still a threat to them right?
This new anger welled inside him, he didn't belong anywhere, he'd be killed by both sides if he told any of them the truth, his anger snapped him out of his thoughts and he resumed listening to Charlie. He cleared his throat and spoke. "Well, I'm totally up for it"
The words just flowed straight out of his mouth he didn’t mean to say them, he just did, that meant that if they did go on some kind of hunt he'd be expected to kill, something he didn't like the idea of. Yeah, they made him angry, they all did, but to kill? His mind was telling him it was the right thing to do, to try and fit in as much as possible. But he couldn't help the sinking feeling he got in the pit of his stomach.
That's right Matty boy, time to grow a pair, you did it to yourself, you're going to become a murderer. Matt pushed the thought to the back of his mind, he smiled at them both, trying to show that nothing was wrong.

”I see you, Walking through a dream, I see you!”----------------------------------------------------- In the end, Annie gave up on her book and listened to them. Now, she wasn't one for eavesdropping, but she'd heard them talking about a hunt on the vampires, the Matt guy had suggested going nearer to the Prison where the vampires were. Annie sort of agree with him. There wasn't any action around here, making it boring, but then again she didn't want to fight any vampires. She may be a slayer but she certainly didn't like being one. Some times she wanted to run, just run, and never come back. But she would be the shame of the family, and they'd never let her forget it if she did come back, or if they found her.
She glanced at them again just in time to see Matt stare off into space. She watched him for a few moments through her eye lashes, wondering what he was thinking about. She thought that he might be thinking about hunting vampires. She hadn't been on Patrol with him yet, or indeed anyone that was sat across the room from her. She was on opposite sides of the time table to them, or at least opposite ends of the town as them. She glanced at the other two, she didn't know their names, having hardly ever seen them apart from when she's probably passed them in the corridors.
She turned her gaze back at Matt and a new through struck her.
He's quite cute! And that smile!
Annie almost giggled at herself. She hadn't ever had a serious relationship, you couldn't with this job, even though some people managed it. She had no idea how they managed it, but they did. Her parent's had. She glanced down at her book as a large smile appeared on her face. Normally she didn't think of her fellow slayers like that, but that thought had just struck her. She pushed it to the back of her mind and tried to read her book again, keeping an ear on their conversation, wondering what they were going to do next.

"Glad you're on board, Matty boy," Charlie said with a hearty laugh before slapping him on the back. "So, us two are definitely gonna do it, cuz doing anythin's better than doin' nothin'," he decided. "So, we need a plan. As in when, what time, and how we should go about it - sneak attack? Or provoke 'em? I'll let you have the choice, since you really need to get on the job."
Charlie sat back comfortably in his seat awaiting Matt's reply. This was more like it, this was more how a room full of slayers should be. And in a situation like that, it would be extrememly dangerous, and most likely a fight for your own life. Maybe that would be good enough motivation to actually let Matt have some action. He was long overdue; even the girls had killed more than him. Well, by girls he meant Vanessa, since the one other girl hadn't actually been hunting yet.
Charlie saw some movement from the corner of his eye, and slowly turned to see her. She looked like the nice, innocent type of girl. "What about you, fancy doin' some killin'?"

------------------------------------I love the way she bites her lip, I love the way she shakes them hips. I love the way she makes me drool. I think that she is beautiful.------------------ Sitting in silence for a few minutes, Vanessa couldn't help but worry about what they were suggesting. She was no coward, and she was willing to die for the LDSCPHR, there was no question about that. Her reluctance wasn't about that. It was just... well, it was one thing putting Slayers in danger if it meant killing a whole lot of the Supernaturals, but it was another thing completely if the danger might result in only the Slayers dying.
It just seemed like a stupid risk. But the boys were very into the idea. Maybe it would work: as long as they were careful and always had an escape route planned, maybe there would be no casualties. She'd just have to make sure it was all well calculated.
"Provoke them? Are you crazy?" she said, frowning as Charlie listed their options. "They're dangerous enough when you catch them off guard, you'd have to be mental to purposeully make them angry!" God Charlie, use your brain! ------------------

"Well, what's your suggestion? It might be impossible to sneak into the prison, what with those super freaky noses that can smell anything... Are there are any other ways that can garantee us a fight?"
As Charlie saw it, it was do or die. Heck, they'd probably even attack the slayers before they got to the prison, with their superhuman senses.

Matt began to shake, and his voice quivered as he spoke. I think a sneak attack would work better. Vanessa's right, provoking them is just too dangerous. We'd just need a way to disguise ourselves, disguise our scent, so then they won't know we're there Matt cringed mentally, he couldn't believe he was helping them with their plan of action. But some where deep inside of him, he was almost excited. He'd never felt the adrenaline rush from hunting supernaturals before, he was curious to see whether he'd like it or not. What his preferred way of doing it was. All he had to do was show Charlie that he wasn't a coward, that he could actually do it if he wanted to. but he just wasn't that guy. (Sorry, didn't know what to put )

”I see you, Walking through a dream, I see you!”----------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- =========================== Annie's head snapped up when Charles asked her if she wanted to join. That was unexpected. Sometimes Annie was able to just blend into the background and not be noticed. Not exactly sometime to be proud of, but it came in useful if she was in the town and a vampire suddenly appeared, needing to feed. She shrugged and closed her book, keeping her thumb on the page so she wouldn't lose it.
"Sure, but if I am too join you, I would agree with Vanessa and Matt here," she said. "Provoking them would only mean more harm to us and a lot less harm to them. Prokoving them gives them time to think of a plan, a surpise attack means they've got to think of their feet."
Annie had thought of her feet a few times in the past when she'd been in trouble as a kid, and even a few times when she'd been on patrol and a vampire or werewolf had appeared. It wasn't hard, not when you thought about it. Its all about quick thinking and sharp reactions.
Sure, Annie would like to go out with them and take them down, but she was scared for her life, and the lives of her friends and the lives of the people here. The things these people - and her - put themselves through. She'd watched countless people having to be taken to hospital because of the injuries sustained by vampires - not always bites - and wondered why they hadn't stopped and run away before they'd gotten seriously hurt. Annie shivered at the thought of being bitten by a vampire. She never wanted to be one of them, never.
Annie was still unsure whether she was willing to give up her life for her job, sure, when the time came for it she probably would, but when she though about it, she knew she'd chicken out. But if a friend was in trouble, she knew she'd make the right choice, whether she ran away or gave her life. But that day had yet to come, and Annie tried not to think of the day when that choice could come.

"But what would smell stronger than fresh, warm, delicious human blood? It'll be a mighty fine task, tryin' t' mask the scent of so many slayers, and what if we didn't pull it off? then our sneak attack wouldn' work, an' we wouldn' have any other plan ready."
It wasn't that Charlie disliked this plan; a sneak attack would be fun. But they didn't know how many supernaturals were there, or how strong exactly their senses were. If the slayers did try to hide themselves, how would they know that they had done? Either the supernaturals would attack if they hadn't done it properly, or the supernaturals would come up with a plan against them, or maybe they actually wouldn't notice, and the slayers' plan would work. If the latter was true, then what would the slayers do next? The old prison was quite high security, and though it was no longer maintained, how were they planning on entering? The gates were their only option, but without a key, that may not even be possible. They could attempt to scale both the gate and the walls, but that most most definitely alert the supernaturals to their enemies presence.
However, the team of slayer wasn't just random people of the street; they all had their strengths and weaknesses, and for some, the former included strategies. Either way, it was possible to pull it off, if they did come up with some good ideas.
"Well, the searge ain't here right now, so he can't tell us what to do, and I'm a little overruled. So you best all come up with some damn good stretegies. How are you plannin' to disguise our scents? How are you plannin' on actually gettin' to the vamps? And don' forget a backup plan, in case they find out." Charlie looked expectantly at his colleagues.

------------------------------------I love the way she bites her lip, I love the way she shakes them hips. I love the way she makes me drool. I think that she is beautiful.------------------ Vanessa couldn't deny that she was surprised at how this conversation had turned out. Suddenly the boys were serious, and the quiet girl from the other table had even joined it. She hadn't expected the subject to bring them all together in such an adult manner. But then again, they were all Slayers; this was the one thing they all had in common.
She was glad to hear that most of the Slayers agreed with her. All but Charlie in fact. It was good to know everyone else was thinking about safety too. But... then again... Charlie did have a very valid point... 'Nessa really didn't want to risk provoking the Supernaturals, and neither did the other two by the sounds of it, but it would be very difficult to sneak up on the Supernaturals, as Charlie had said.
Perhaps this whole idea was stupid: launching an attack on the Supernaturals was never going to be easy, and it definitely wouldn't be safe. Their boss would probably allow it though, never mind how dangerous it was. He was very much into destroying all those creatures, regardless of whether or not humans got hurt in the process. 'Nessa had to admit, she wasn't all that fond of him, but that was for more reasons than just that.
"A sneak attack's perfect, but Charlie's right for once, it'll be difficult to do," she said. She paused before carrying on. "But... I do have an idea. For the vampires at least. If we could get some fresh blood and throw that out somewhere, preferably away from where we'd be attacking from, then they'd be distracted by that. Ok, so they might be able to smell us over the scent of the blood, but it would definitely keep their attention away from us for a while. But I don't know how we'd do that without actually leaving a bleeding person there; because otherwise it wouldn't be fresh and it would be difficult to transport it there without them smelling it... But I'm sure we'd find a way. We'd need to do something else for the wolves though. Though if we don't actually attack on a full moon, they shouldn't be that much trouble. And just keep our guns loaded with silver bullets of course." ------------------

Charlie braced himself for Vanessa's response. He was expecting a "that's stupid", "you aren't thinking clearly", or "do you wanna get us all killed?!", but he was actually surprised at her responce. His expression showed a hint of smugness at hearing comment, even though he didn't have much reason to. Charlie was just glad that she was agreeing with him, for once. And hey, if everyone disagreed, Charlie wouldn't mind going on the attack with just her. In fact, that could have ended up with many... interesting... scenarios. Charlie's mind began to drift away, but was then dragged back as 'Nessa began to speak again.
"A complete diversion? What, are we gonna gank the 'wolves first, then go after the vamps, or dig into them right in the middle of their midnight snack? I'd maybe even suggest both ideas at once, but I'm not sure what our latest estimate on supernatural numbers was. And for the actual diversion - dead animals? We kill 'em or use stuff from the stores, whatever. That probably wouldn't cover our scent, so we could always nick some stuff from the blood bank, cover it all in that, and hope we can get away properly. Cuz once they get a whiff o' that, they're probably gonna come bounding out, thinkin' it's some stray human, and that they best get their meals while they can. Another idea is use ourselves as bait; y'know, spill a little blood, get them runnin', an' prepare to attack. I don' mind, I'll do it. Then we get half of us ready to attack the blood suckers, an' the other half sneakin' in on the wolves. Or just try to take out the blood suckers first, whatever."
Charlie barely even paused to breath as he presented his ideas. Just thinking about hunts got his blood going, and having a serious chance to talk about a huge all-you-can-kill ambush was really exciting him. All of the slayers against god knows how many beasts... now that would be fun. All of the risks, and opportunities, and experience would be good for everyone. And Matt could finally show everyone how good a hunter he could be (not that Charlie would let Matt upsatge him, or anything. No, the only person he would willingly let beat him in terms of hunt was Johnny dingle, but he was so much of a douche that he didn't really count).

” So I offer my life as a sacrifice I live through your love You teach me how to see”-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- Annie listened to them talking and they had a point. If they snuck up on them, they'd be able to smell them a mile off. She often cursed there hightened senses, she'd lost a few friends with this job because of their super senses. It was so annoying, epesically when the Slayers were trying to sneak up on a vampire drinking or a werewolf in their werewolf form and theard them. Annoying on more than one level, as any Slayer will tell you. When the question of scents passed through the air, she wondered how they'd cover their scent. To normal humans, the only time other humans have a scent is when we sweat or put on perfume or colone. But to vampires and werewolves, they could smell a human's blood.
Annie listened to their plans and bit her lip on the inside. She constantly did that, it was a usual thing for her. She did it even when she didn't need to, like when she read a book or was just listening to music or something. Sometimes she would bite it to hard and draw blood, she even walked around with thick lips from where she'd bitten the outside of her lip too hard. But she hadn't done that lately, thank god. The idea about using blood to distract the vampires was a good idea in Annie's eyes. No matter how much she didn't want to be a slayer, growing up with her parents forcing her into training had rubbed off on her, which she hated.
Annie stared gobsmacked when Charlie suggested using themselves for bait. This was a man who was dedicated to his job, something Annie doubted herself on sometimes, but, hey, she hated her job, why should she be 100% dedicated to it. She knew why, so her family weren't ashamed of her and the few friends she had didn't get themselves killed. What Charlie was talking about was pure suicide, wasn't it? The vampires would lung with the smell of pure, fresh, warm human blood in the air. Although, their blood would distract them, she didn't know what the wolves would do if they were there. Like Vanessa said, they'd have silver bullets of course, but they moved quick, meaning sometimes you didn't hit them with the bullets and they attacked you.
Annie stayed quite as she thought, keeping one ear on the conversation, but at the same time staring at a piece of wall above Matt's head, lost in her own thoughts. [Its crap, but I had no idea what to put! xD]

(I haven't done this in a while, so please, forgive me ) Matt nodded, he wasn't really listening like he was before, the talking had become background noise to him nowas he became absorbed in his own thoughts. He started thinking about all he had ever read about vampires, things that could be poisonus to them, he started to come up with his own plan. The thoughts that ran through his head scared him, he was becoming exactly what he didn't want to be, all through one little secret his mother never told him. Instead of helping the people like him, he was helping the opposing team wipe them out, he didn't like it but he felt the urge to carry on. We could use bait, people that others wouldn't miss, like some tramps off a street. We could clean them up, feed them up, and whatever, but when we feed them we could put somehting in the food, something that weakens a vampire. We send them up to the prisons, and when the vampires attack them, and drink their blood they become weak. Thats when we do our bit. We launch an attack on the vampires. Matt looked at floor, ashamed with his outburst, hoping they wouldn't think less of him because of his idea.

"Whoa, calm down there, Matty boy. Jus' pickin' random people of the street, to let them purposefully die? That's not really fair, now. As much as it would probably help us, I jus' don' think we should actually kill anyone; we're different from them, we gotta show that we aren't killers when it come to ordinary people. I appreciate your enthusiasm an' all, but I jus don't like the idea, Matt. Although I do agree with your other idea." He sat forwards in his chair, so that it was easier to address everyone. "We could always try t' do that to blood we already got - you know, animal blood, and blood bank stuff, 'cuz then, when we find a way to do it, it'll infect it quicker, and there's no way of it being cleaned out, unlike a person.Although we could try t' find somethin' safe to us, but not to them to put in our own blood, so if we do, uh, lose... at least we'll be takin' one o' them suckers down with us."
Charlie had to admit, he was surprised by Matt. He always seemed like a softie, like the sort of guy who'd do anything to make people safe, yet now he was suggesting these sorts of methods? Charlie had to admit, he was kid of impressed with that amount of dedication... but also worried that it might be making Matt somewhat reckless.

Matt frowned It would be in secret, they're only tramps and no ones going to notice. We wouldn't be killing them, the vampires would be, and that might not even happen. One bite could be enough to paralyze them if the concentration of this... substance is strong enough. Matt took his gaze from the floor to Charlie's face, wanting to see if he was going to far with this.
Hardly any vampires drink animal blood, even if they did, we'd have to feed them the same stuff everyday and probably keep them within our grounds so they don't run away, by then they would smell of us and they would be suspicious. As for blood banks, that bloods not fresh. Vampires probably wouldn't be interested in blood that isn't fresh, and again it could cause suspicion and our cover could be blown. You have a point about putting this stuff in our own blood, but it'll probably only paralyze them, so if we die, they'll still be alive, there would have to be enough of us with it in our blood to take down a significant number of them.
Matt looked smug with himself he was right and he knew it, he'd come up with a better plan. One that had a good chance of working. Alarm bells were ringing in his head trying to warn him about this new malicious side to him.
