The world is more dangerous than it may at first appear.

Dark creatures prey on mortal flesh, and humans live in fear.

But in this game of cat and mouse, there are now other players.

My friend, the time is drawing near; come and meet the SLAYERS!

Welcome to Rosepetal Falls. All humans are welcome here, from babies to elderly people, everyone is safe. We pride ourselves on our policies against the Supernatural vermin which live in our town. The LDSC (more commonly known as the Slayers) have developed weapons that can successfully kill any Supernatural creature. Rosepetal Falls is no longer controlled by the immortal murderers.

But it wasn’t always like this. Less than a few years ago, this town and most others were over-run by creatures such as vampires and werewolves (colloquially known as the Supernaturals). Every human was terrified of even leaving their homes, knowing death was so close by, as these creatures roamed the streets. The town, nay, the whole world was ruled by ferocious monsters.

However, underneath all this death and destruction, hidden from the Supernaturals, a group of humans in a small town called Rosepetal Falls were planning their revenge. They formed a group, the League for the Destruction of Supernatural Creatures and the Protection of the Human Race, or LDSC. This group consisted of people determined to fight against the horror of the world. They invented weapons capable of killing any creature, they came up with a plan to take control. They slowly gained more and more members, until they had enough to start a rebellion.

The fighting lasted for weeks, maybe months, with many casualties on both sides, until it started to slow down. Neither side gave in, but the Slayers defiantly had the advantage. The LDSC rule over Rosepetal Falls, killing any Supernatural they see, in order to ‘defend the people’. Not all humans agreed with it though. Quite a few humans believed that it was inhumane to kill these creatures purely for their species. They say it would be like killing every shark in the world, purely because it was their nature to kill. But this group was in a minority, and so the Slayers continued to fight.

A lot of the Supernaturals simply fled, while others were forced to the edge of town, taking refuge in the abandoned prison. They are still there now, venturing out much less frequently than they used to, taking less victims but not stopping all together. The Slayers may have won the fight, but they haven’t won the war.
